On 30th October, University of Auckland scientists hosted the Lymphatics Community Consultation Hui at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute. This was a meeting of university academics, clinicians, and iwi representatives, to collaborate energy and ideas. We shared our experiences with microsurgical lymphovenous anastamosis surgery, and the results of our first year of practice. We were excited to see so many people with a shared passion for advancing lymphoedema care in New Zealand, and look forward to ongoing engagement in the years to come.
